Mature applicants who have reached the age of 18 but do not have an OSSD or equivalent, may be considered providing they demonstate their ability to meet the requirements of our program by writing a Canadian Achievement Test (CAT).
It is required that each student have a clear testimony of knowing the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour.
Field Education
KLBC is committed to the importance of the local church. As a result, each student is required to attend a local church on a regular basis.
In addition to their academic requirements, each student is required to spend a minimum of four hours per week engaged in Field Education activities. This involvement is to be in a supervised program such as children's clubs, youth work, ministries to senior citizens, choir ministry, drama presentations, literature distribution, etc.
Graduation Requirements
- Get a passing grade of 60% in all compulsory courses.
- Successfully complete elective courses to have a minimum of 33 credit hours.
- Read through the entire Bible during the school year.
- Have complied with the KLBC attendance expectations.
- Have all accounts with KLBC paid in full.
Transfer of Credits
Students who desire to pursue further Bible College education following their time at KLBC, will receive full or partial credit for the studies they have already completed. The amount of transfer credit given is dependent upon the particular institution and the individual's academic performance. Historically, most of our graduates have transferred to Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa where students can transfer into their second or third year depending upon the program which they enter. Now they may also transfer into the third year of the four-year Bachelor of Arts in Ministry (B.A.M.) program through Prairie Bible College, Three Hills, AB, but offered at KLBC.
