KLBC Scholarship Information

Local Church Partnership Scholarship

KLBC will match any gifts the student's local church contributes to their academic fees up to a maximum of $750 for the academic year. This scholarship is limited to the equivalent of ten students.

Summer Camp Ministry Matching Scholarship

Students who work a minimum of six weeks at a summer camp during the summer immediately prior to attending KLBC are eligible to receive a matching scholarship up to $500.

Academic Scholarship

Students who graduate secondary school with honors are eligible for $250 scholarship first semester and is renewable for second semester depending upon maintaining an "A" average.

Married Couple Scholarship

In such cases where a student attends KLBC while married the student is eligible for a scholarship of $1000. In such cases where both the husband and wife attend fulltime the second spouse will receive a full tuition scholarship.

President's Leadership Scholarship

Two leadership scholarships of $500 per semester are made available for eligible students who meet the following qualifications: a member in good standing in their local church, a written recommendation by one of the spiritual leaders in their church(elders/pastors) confirming spiritual development and leadership aptitude; a leadership reference confirming proven leadership experience; The student will write an essay not exceeding five hundred words outlining their leadership experiences and an assessment of their own abilities and future goals and objectives.

Vocational Ministry Scholarship

Two scholarships of $500 per semester are awarded to students who are engaged in fulltime vocational ministry or who are children of parents who are engaged in ministry.

Stewards Scholarships

Stewards Ministries offers financial assistance for children of commended workers for up to 4 years of undergraduate studies and one year of post-graduate studies. Application for these scholarships must be made between January 1 and May 1 for classes beginning in the fall.
